I'm Christabelle—a registered dietitian and the founder of North Texas Nutrition.

 

I believe in meeting individuals exactly where they are. No matter the current weight or health status, there are always meaningful, sustainable ways to support well-being and promote a more positive relationship with food and body.

 

Instead of following rigid rules or promoting unrealistic expectations, I rely on evidence-based strategies to guide the process. Wellness plans are always tailored to align with each person’s unique lifestyle, values, and goals.

 

Collaboration is at the heart of my approach. Whether the focus is on managing a chronic condition, addressing weight concerns, or simply finding more ease with daily nourishment, my goal is to offer support, guidance, and compassion. I'm here to help create a path toward better health—one that feels realistic, empowering, and truly sustainable.

My Story

I’m a proud Filipino-American and a registered dietitian with a passion for helping people build a healthier, more sustainable relationship with food.

My journey in nutrition began at Texas Woman’s University, where I earned a Master of Science in Nutrition and completed my dietetic internship. Since then, I’ve spent over four years working in a range of settings, including inpatient care, private practice, and clinical research.

​

In the inpatient setting, I’ve worked with a wide variety of complex medical conditions such as cirrhosis, kidney disease, diabetes, transplants, post-surgery recovery, and cancer. I’ve also worked in depth with individuals requiring enteral tube feeding. This is where I learned to fiercely advocate for my patients and always see the person first, not just their condition. These experiences deepened my understanding of the important role nutrition plays in both acute and long-term health.

In private practice, my focus has been on supporting individuals navigating weight concerns, diabetes, and PCOS. I truly enjoy working one-on-one to help people find practical, personalized ways to care for their health without restriction or guilt.

These diverse experiences have shaped my approach, which is evidence-based, compassionate, and centered on each person’s unique needs and story.
